FIL-X Nylon PA 6 1.75mm

PA-6 nylon filament combines good mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance.  Parts printed in nylon PA6 will be able to withstand temperatures of around 100 ° C.

PA-6 is commonly used in industry, especially automotive. It is suitable for making functional prototypes, mechanical parts or hinges and cogs.

A closed enclosure is necessary to ensure the best results for this filament, ideally at 90 ° C.

Fil-X recommends baking the filament at 60 ° C for 4 hours or more, when the roll has been exposed to the open air for a long time.

Nylon is a material particularly sensitive to humidity, special care must be taken in its storage.
