SBS (Styrene-butadiene-styrene) origins from Polystyrene with the combination of Polybutadiene. This combination results in tough yet flexible filament. It is not however as flexible as TPU, although more flexible than PETG.

SBS has good layer adhesion and does not give off an odour when printing. 3D printing filaments are often subject to a certain level of hygroscopicity. SBS does not absorb moisture and therefore degrade as a result of moisture absorption.

FIL-X SBS is easy to print and another advantage of SBS is it can be smoothed using d-limonene.

Print temp :195 - 215 degrees

Really struggling to print with it
Using direct drive but it's not working

Fil-x sbs

It is a amazing filament to work with. Easy print and easy to finish off. Well printed functional pars wit a0.6 nozzle. And hard working. Happy with the quality. Will move over to only using sbs in place of my pla.

Such a pleasure to print

I'm see amazing results with this material. Prints super easy. Not brittle but has a tiny bit of flex and thus greater impact resistance. It prints longs bridges, no stringing.
Current setting are on Prusa: 220C with 60C bed. Auto cooling between 10-40% fan speeds after two layers. Bridges @ 50% fan. Retraction 1.2mm @ 60mm/s. 1.1 extrusion multiplier. Medium printing speeds.

Brilliant

Been able to reduce using supports, and just overall so much better to print with

Excellent but

Found that it is not quite a drop in replacement as claimed, however, the slight flex was perfect for what I needed, but I struggled that the extruder on my ender 5, didn't mash it to pieces, even when backing of spring tension I had a couple of failed prints due to filament getting flattened or ground down and the feed stopped
